Our Mission

To lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, build a church family rooted in God’s Word, and share His love by serving our community and reaching the world.

At HOWchurch, we believe faith goes beyond Sunday. We’re here to help people know God, grow together, discover their purpose, and make a difference.

Our Beliefs

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our foundation for faith and everyday life. Through Scripture, we discover who God is, how He loves us, and how He calls us to live.

God

We believe in one eternal God who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is our Creator, perfect in love, holiness, and power.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again. Through Him, we can receive forgiveness and a restored relationship with God.

Salvation

We believe salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. We cannot earn it through good works. When we turn to Jesus in repentance and faith, He forgives us and gives us new life.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in believers, guides us in truth, helps us grow in faith, and equips us to serve God and others.

Baptism and Communion

We believe water baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. We observe Communion to remember His sacrifice and celebrate the hope we have through His death and resurrection.

The Church

We believe the church is a family of believers called to worship God, grow in His Word, care for one another, and share the gospel. Every person has gifts and a purpose within the body of Christ.

Living Our Faith

We believe following Jesus changes how we live. We are called to love others, extend forgiveness, live with integrity, give generously, and serve with compassion.

The Return of Jesus

We believe Jesus Christ will return. We believe in the resurrection, God’s final judgment, and eternal life with Him for those who trust in Christ.

You Belong Here

You don’t have to have everything figured out to come to HOWchurch. Wherever you are in your journey, you’re welcome to join us as we learn to follow Jesus and live out our faith together.
