HOWChurch is a contemporary baptist church located in Pineville Louisiana. Although identifying as Baptist, HOWChurch focuses more on the walk with God than the walk in religion. Established in 2007, HOWChurch currently has two services every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Also featured is a full worship band that provides a broad mix of worship songs. HOWChurch is lead by Pastor Keith Dickens and has dynamic, exciting, and engaging messages that applies to all.

We believe that there is one God who exists in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 8:6, Ephesians 4:6)

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, was wholly God and wholly man, lived a sinless life, died in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind, was buried, arose bodily from the grave, and ascended into heaven. (Philippians 2:5-15, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

Christ’s Return

We believe that Jesus Christ will literally return to earth. (Acts 1:9-11, Revelation 1:7)

Holy Spirit

We believe that God the Holy Spirit is active in convincing unbelievers of their need for salvation and is the comforter and guide who lives in every believer. (John 16:7-5, John 6:63)

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God without any error, the sole authority for life and faith. (John 1: 1, 2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe that man is a special creation of God, made in His image, but that through the sin of the first man, Adam, mankind fell so that all men are sinners and need salvation. (Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 3:12)

We believe that salvation is a gift recieved by grace, through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:1-9)

We believe that every person who is truly saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 10:28, Ephesians 2:1-9)

We believe that those persons who die in their sins without Christ and reject the Gospel of Christ, spend eternity in Hell and those persons who die with their sins forgiven through Christ spend eternity in Heaven. (Revelation 20:11-15, Romans 10:13)

We believe that water baptism is an act of obedience to the command of Christ and is by immersion after salvation. (Mathew 28:19-20, Acts 10:47-48)

We believe that the church is a local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head. (Romans 12:4, Ephesians 5:23)

We believe that each believer has direct access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ. (Luke 18:1, Philippians 4:6)

We believe in the separation of church and state, but not in separation of God and government. Christians are salt and light in society. (Matthew 5:13-16)

Everyone is Welcome.
